Ranks are earned by depth, not paid for at the door.
What gets named and witnessed is what gets internalized.
Most marketing programs hand you a badge the day your card clears, and the badge means what the card meant. Here a rank means how far down you have been, on your own business, in front of people who were watching. That is why every rank is visible, every crossing is named, and none of them can be bought.
Three reasons the ranks exist. You can see where you are, so there is no fog. The room can see where everyone else is, so a Master knows an Apprentice on sight and treats them accordingly. And the guide can see who is coming, because when someone moves from one rank to the next, the work is working.
The Five Stages
You found the room and recognized yourself in it. Free. Nothing is asked of you yet.
You told the room what is not working, in three sentences, and got a floor number back. You watch the descent every week until you can see the building.
You took the Oath and applied for The Marketer’s Journey. The descent now happens on your business, guided, documented, yours.
Your system is running five floors down and holding. You carry a Charter that names your market, your shaft, and your stand.
You take others down. Granted by the Council on proven, testable results. Never sold.
The Rites
Every crossing is witnessed. That is the whole mechanism.
The Floor Check
The first act of an Apprentice. Three sentences about what is not working. The room answers with a floor number and nothing else, because nobody can see their own floor from inside, and being told yours is the first thing you own here.
The Oath
Taken at the door of The Marketer’s Journey, out loud or in writing, in front of the room. It is an invitation, not a requirement; the invitation is the ceremony. You are named in the next live session as a new Journeyman.
The First Build
Inside thirty days, something ships that the market can see and that did not exist before: a positioning page, a Voice statement, a Floor 5 install on one shaft. The room celebrates the shipping, not the result. Results come later. Shipping is the rite.
The Charter
When the system is installed and holding, you receive a Charter: a formal document naming the market you serve, the shaft you went deepest in, and the stand you take.
It is yours to display, and it is the last rank that can be reached by descending.
The Naming. Master rank is conferred, not applied for. The Council names Masters on a body of work, a record of taking others down, and continued embodiment of the Oath.
It is public, and it is permanent.
The Council governs the ranks. The border governs the door.
The Council is made up of Masters. It advises on direction, refers the highest-fit owners in, names new Masters, and keeps the method honest as the landscape moves. Nobody sits on it by purchase.
